Juan previously worked as a finance specialist at Pluspetrol, one of the largest private oil and gas companies in Latin America.

A proud Uruguayan, Juan is excited to scale the program to deliver benefits for ranchers and communities across the country.

A third-generation cattle farmer, Julio is steeped in Uruguay’s rich agricultural traditions. Alongside running his own, large-scale farming operations, Julio leads Interagrovial, the official representative in Uruguay of the leading brand in agricultural, construction and forestry machinery. We’re delighted to have Julio’s support and expertise as we look to expand CMC into a nationwide program that can be a model for the region.

Todd moved to Uruguay from the United States 20 years ago and has farmed here for more than 15 years. Todd recognised that the country is an ideal location for a nature-based carbon sequestration program because of his experience in carbon sequestration and carbon markets from his work in the US. Todd launched CMC in close partnership with experts in soil farming and carbon markets, with a mission to ensure Uruguay’s farming communities thrive for generations to come.

Nicolás has worked in close partnership with Todd, adding valuable knowledge and experience to CMC. An experienced Uruguayan farmer, Nicolás balances owning several large-scale farming operations with his work as a Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Uruguay, part of the Guyer & Regules law firm. He continues to share knowledge with our leadership team as we build CMC.
